Keyfinder Advanced 2010 is a tool that will show you your Windows 7 and Microsoft Office product keys. When you buy a license for these products, you receive a unique product code that, in most cases, can only be used in a single computer. If you need to reinstall these products, and you do not remember or cannot locate the corresponding product keys, you will lose costly licenses.
Though encrypted, these keys are stored somewhere in the computer where you installed these programs and they are usually out of your reach - Keyfinder is capable of retrieving and showing them to you.
You will see the twenty five characters that form the product key, separated into five groups of five characters each. It will also allow you to save your product keys to a text file, so that you can have a backup that you can use in the future. You can also print them out, if you wish to have a hard copy. Keyfinder can also change the information about the current Windows owner, change the installed Windows product key, load or unload a registry hive, or send a CD key request for you.
The trial version will show you just the first two groups of characters for each product key. The CD key request is disabled in this version.
